News Nurse Molly receives unpaid maternal leave, quits Baptist

Her bulletin board was empty. Her computer monitor was black. Farewell gifts sat on her otherwise empty desk. And as the waiting room was emptying out at the end of the day at the Baptist Health Systems Clinic – Nurse Molly McCaffery Moore – wearing all black, was preparing to conclude eight years of caring for Mississippi College students. “I have absolutely loved working here,” said Moore as she attempted to hold back her tears.     Homecoming weekend at MC was filled with a little blue, a little gold, and a whole lot of Choctaw pride. The atmosphere was different on campus, filled with memories of times past, and excitement of what is to come. Homecoming festivities at Mississippi College kicked off with activities such as the cheer competition, won by Kissimmee Tribe; Follies, won by Shawreth; and the parade competition which was won by Rotaract.     My sister, Megan, is teaching fifth grade at Eastside Elementary for the first year and she told me a story about her students that actually related quite well to college life.
