News MC students robbed at gunpoint

Two Mississippi College international students from China were robbed at gunpoint recently in the Windsor Village apartment complex along Wood Stone Drive. The students, Chongbo Xu and his girlfriend, Yiwen Chen, told Clinton Police Officers they returned to their off campus apartment around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 when they noticed four black males sitting in a sport utility vehicle outside their apartment.     When I was approached about going on this date I was half excited half worried. Basically worried that the girl I would be taking out would either fall deeply in love with the Swan as so many have before or that she would be boring and shady.     With one semester of college left, senior criminal justice major Sam Adams will enter the United States Army Basic Training on Jan. 3. When she goes home to visit her family in South Dakota after final exams, she will experience her last extended stay with them for next five years.
